• This contemporary flamenco performance takes the audience on a journey through twelve flamenco styles, from the origins of the Romani diaspora to the new electrified sounds of modern flamenco. Jaleos Jondos is a reverse journey through the four seasons, moving from darkness to light. Beginning in the depths of winter with the seguiriyas, the journey culminates in the arrival of spring, where fandangos and sevillanas come to life.

  The scenography and costumes reflect this transformation, as cold blues evolve into dazzling golds and reds. The stage space evokes the sea, the mountains and the passion of the Romani people, tracing this culture from its distant origins in the East to its arrival in our lands, to the rhythm of tanguillos and alegrías.
